Tonight I bring you the……. Thank you lovely…friend #Spring/Summer Project Make – Mini Gate-fold Card. I really enjoyed making this “off the cuff” as it wasn’t rehearsed so I do apologise for the 18minute video…
I absolutely love the Needle and Nook DSP especially this Balmy Blue Coloured Design. It co-ordinates fantastically with the Night of Navy Cardstock and Stampin Ink. I also made use of my Everyday Label Punch, my Classic Label Punch and my Banner Triple Punch 🙂 I finished off the card with a fantastic sentiment (or three) from both the Thankful Thoughts Stamp Set and the Stitched All Around Stamp Set – not to mention the basic rhinestone jewels!
I just love how the products from various catalogues, sale-a-brations, and occasions catalogues can all be used together… this makes life so much easier for us crafters. Now, whether you are a beginner, intermediate or avid crafter, you too could make this card. Instructions
- Cut your A4 white cardstock down to 4″ x 8″ (you can get a few cards from one sheet!)
- Score along the longest side at 2″ and 6″
- DSP layer measures for inside card measures appx 3 7/8″ x 3 7/8″ and adhere to inside of card (you may have to trim it a little further)
- IF YOU USE NIGHT OF NAVY AS CARD BASE INSTEAD OF WHITE YOU WON’T NEED TO DO THIS STEP – Cut two pieces of night of navy cardstock down to 2″ x 4″ and adhere to fronts of card. Layer both fronts with the DSP which measures 1 7/8″ x 1 7/8″
- Using the reverse side of the DSP cut a section down to 2″ x 4″ and punch with banner punch.Adhere this layer to a piece of Night of Navy cardstock and fussy cut around making sure you leave a quarter inch layer.
- Stamp out “Thank You” and underneath it “lovely”
- Punch sentiment out with the Classic Label punch and adhere to your layered banner section – Adhere all to left side of card only
- Stamp the word “friend” on white cardstock and punch out using the everyday label punch, adhere to piece of night of navy and fussy cut around making sure you leave a quarter inch layer – adhere to inside of card
- Add embelleshments
- Take photo and share 🙂
