Make it Monday #51 Hello Fabulous Handmade Card

Welcome to today’s Make it Monday #51 Hello Fabulous Handmade Card

Thanks for joining me for another episode of my Make it Monday Series. We are now on episode 51 and today we are making an adorable “Hello Fabulous” Handmade Card using the Best Dressed DSP. I also use a sentiment from the co-ordinating Dressed to Impress stamp set.

Both the stamp set and the DSP are available in our mini catalogue January to June 2020. Buy the suite and earn enough to claim a level 1 free item! How awesome.

This card is similar to the one made on 19th February’s blog post in that it measures 5 x 5 inches in size.

Petal pink was my choice for the colour for the card base, it’s one of many co-ordinating colours in this set.

Product List

Instructions and Measurements:

My card base measures 5″ squared and I layered a piece of DSP that measures 4 7/8″ squared on to my card base.

Using the 2nd largest (2″ sized) square die I die cut out four pieces of petal pink cardstock. The next step was to die cut out four smaller squares in whisper white and layered these on top.

If you remember, I had a few fussy cut images from the DSP in another best dressed project, I chose the four that would compliment this card well.

On the last remaining fourth layered square, I stamped a sentiment in Lovely Lipstick and added a further fussy cut image alongside it.

On the inside of my card I added an insert in whisper white and layered a rectangle section and stamped Happy birthday sentiment from the Itty Bitty Birthdays stamp set.
