For a very kind and thoughtful friend handmade card
Creating a handmade card for a very kind and thoughtful friend is always a pleasure. I think that it is important to acknowledge acts of kindness. Gifting someone a handmade card is a perfect acknowledgement.
Card base is whisper white as is the stamping layer. I matted my top layer on to some Bumblebee Card stock and used this plus Grey Granite as my focal colours.
The stamp set used today is the beautiful Gorgeous Posies. This is an add on product to the Gorgeous Posies Project Kit (Both pictured below).
Our product kit is based on a pink and purple colour scheme. I decided to stamp in different colours. With all of our colour options, you can be as creative as you like. You can find our full range of ink colours in my online store.
The important thing is to have fun and I sure had fun making this today.

Instructions
Card Bases – Whisper white A4 card cut in half and scored at 4-1/8″ on the longest side – Card size folded = 4-1/8″ x 5-7/8″
Bumblebee Matt Layer is ” 3-1/8″ x 4-7/8″
Stamping top layer is 3″ x 4-3/4″
Stamping (Stamp on to white card stock)
1 – Stamp two of the large flower in bumblebee.
2 – Stamp the centres with the dotty stamp, stamp in grey granite
3 – Stamp four of the leaf images in grey granite
4 – Stamp the vein image on all four leaves
5 – Stamp four of the small floral image in basic grey and stamp the centres in bumblebee
Fussy cut all images out.
Construct your card by adhering all of your layers together. For your fussy cut elements, arrange and adhere these on to your card too. Make sure you have a play around with placement of your images for best look.
Pick a sentiment and stamp in the centre of your card.
Add a sentiment on the card inside too if you wish.
