Pretty Rose Themed Friendship Card

Today’s project is Pretty Rose Themed Friendship Card using To A Wild Rose Stamp Set by Stampin’ Up! One of my all time favourite sets that was carried over from last year to this year’s catalogue (June 2020).

I couldn’t resist using some of the upcoming Balmy Blue Glimmer Paper on today’s project. And it’s the first time I’ve used my Tailored Tag Punch too!

My Card bases are Misty Moonlight and the matt layers are Whisper White. I like to matt my cards as I feel it makes them pop more.

The two main colours used are Misty Moonlight and Balmy Blue with an added touch of Soft Sea Foam. I used all three layers of stamp for the rose and opted for just two layers on the leaves.

For my sentiment I stamped a simple Hello onto whisper white, punched it out with the tailored tag then layered onto the balmy blue glimmer paper. I had to cut the blue tag in half in order to give some border around my white layer.

Final touches were added by applying some of the Woven Thread Sequin Assortments in the shade of Seaside Spray which co-ordinated rather well.

Instructions

1 – Card Base – Balmy Blue measuring 4-1/8″ x 5-7/8″
2 – Card Matt – Misty Moonlight measuring 4″ x 5-3/4″
3 – Stamping Layer – Whisper White measuring 3-7/8″ x 5-5/8″
4 – Using the stamparatus stamp your images in bottom right corner
5 – Adhere and layer all of your sections to your taste.
6 – Stamp then Punch out your sentiment and layer on to the glimmer card stock punched section
7 – Add sequins to finish.
