Shining Stars Dies by Stampin’ Up! – A Gorgeous Handmade Star Decoration ⭐
Hello my crafty friends! 💚
Well, yesterday was one of those lovely crafting days where I finally got to sit down and have a proper play with some of my new Stampin’ Up! goodies!
If you’ve been following me recently, you’ll know I treated myself to a few new dies. I managed to save up most of the cost using my Stampin’ Rewards, which made my little crafty shopping spree even sweeter!
One of the products I couldn’t wait to try was the Shining Stars Dies, which just happens to be Stampin’ Up!’s October 2026 Product of the Month!
And look what I made! 😍
A Handmade Star Decoration Using Shining Stars Dies
I absolutely love how this little project turned out!
Using the Shining Stars Dies, I created a beautiful layered star decoration that could easily double up as a handmade gift tag.
I added some lovely green and white twine so it can be hung up, making it perfect for a Christmas tree, a festive gift or even a little decorative keepsake.
What I particularly love about these dies is how the different star sizes work together. Layering them creates dimension and makes even the simplest project look that little bit more special.
And you know me – I’m all about making beautiful things without overcomplicating the process!
Whispering Woods Designer Series Paper – Just Beautiful! 🌲🐻
Now, can we take a moment to appreciate this gorgeous patterned paper?
For my star decoration, I used the Whispering Woods 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper from Stampin’ Up!
The soft watercolour-style designs are absolutely beautiful, with woodland scenes and lovely cool colours.
I chose a section featuring gorgeous green trees and an adorable little bear. The nature-inspired design works so well with the layered stars.
Although this paper is ideal for winter and Christmas crafting, I can see myself using it for all sorts of projects throughout the year.
Think handmade cards, scrapbook pages, gift tags and little home decorations.
Sometimes the patterned paper does most of the hard work for you!
