Hello and welcome to this seasonal project tutorial – not quite Christmas, but anotherthanksgiving and autumnal instead.

I have made this card using my new pre-order stampset which is called Gather Together, now this is a ten-piece photopolymer set which means stamping precisely and accurately is really easy.  I bought this in a bundle along side the Gathered Leaves Dies.  These are the new style dies which cut closer to your stamped image – I love them already, a nice even clean 1mm (appx) border around my images.  I’ll definitely be investing in this new style die.

Instructions and measurements:

Now the card base measures 4 by 6 inches.
Matt Layer is 3 7/8 by 5 7/8 inches and the stamping layer is 3 3/4 x 5 3/4 inches

I used Soft Suede for the card base,Mossy Meadow for the  Matt and Very Vanilla for the top layer.  I chose co-ordinating inks as with the cardstock but with an extra colour of old olive for the die cut leaves. I also used the pretty label punch for the sentiment area, and adhered some burlap ribbon under it.

Stamp and Die cut images in colours of choice as per youtube tutorial below. In this die set there are three dies that are dual action – and what I mean is that the cut and emboss the cardstock – such a clean pretty effect too!

Position your die cut images on your card to you taste then add some sentiments to break up the empty space and finish off with some wink of stella on your embossed leaves – very pretty!

Stampin' Up!, Tutorial

Quick and Easy 8″ x 2″ box from one sheet of 12×12 DSP!

Hi everyone!

Tonight we have an infographic blog rather than an online YouTube tutorial from a project I made a few days ago!   You will find the infographic further down this page.

And here it is – the beautiful box!

2018-11-07 20.27.23.jpg

It is absolutely gorgeous and is inspired thanks to one of Sams at pootles.co.uk blogs back in June 2018.

This box was made from one, yes ONE, piece of DSP and the finished sizes are (L = 8″, H = 2″, B = 3″) – I think I’ve written that correctly? lol.  Anyway – feel free to try this project make and be sure to tag me in any creations you make from this blog 🙂 smithscraftycreations.com.  I have linked all the products used below – feel free to visit my Stampin’ Up! online shop here and select me as your demonstrator before placing your order :).

Thanks for visiting and come back soon!

Stampin' Up!, Tutorial

Quick easy motivational sentiment card – ©Stampin’ Up!

Hello hello hello!

Thanks for visiting my blog and YouTubeChannel.

Tonight I have made a quick and easy motivational sentiment card, again, using the Petal Promenade DSP.  However, I decided to try out the Lovely Lipstick A4 Cardstock and co-ordinating ink with the Friendly Expressions Stamp Set.

This is what the finished product looks like 🙂

photocollage_201811519335263.jpg

If you wish to purchase any of the materials used please click on the SHOP link on the main menu or click on the Stampin’Up! Logo link to the right of this page.

Measurements:

A4 Cardstock cut to 11 1/2″ x 4 1/8″ (2 cards per sheet)
Score @ 5 3/4″
DSP measures 5 3/8″ x 3 7/8″
Sentiment bottom layer 3 5/8″ x 1 3/8″
Sentiment stamping layer 3 5/8″ x 1″ (this layer same length as bottom layer as, once stamped, you will create a “bump” by gluing an 1/8″ in at each side)
Add colour co-ordinating embellishment 🙂

YouTube Tutorial can be viewed below:

I enjoyed this little project so simple yet the finished product is so classy. You can find detailed below, direct links to my page to purchase the Stampin’ Up! products I used in this quick project make.

Thanks!

Love Tx

Santa’s Workshop Pop Up Card Tutorial

Well finally, my Santa’s Workshop items arrived, and this was my first project make using these items 🙂 I was so happy that I went out of my comfort zone to try something a little more challenging – isn’t this cute 🙂

The front of the card states that “Santa’s on his way” and has lots of cute images of Santa himself…

20181101_182419

… and the inside states “December 24″… and here you have Mrs Claus and all her little elf helpers – adorable. This would be perfect to gift to a little one on the night of Christmas Eve.

20181101_182435

Here is the link to my YouTube Tutorial, give it a like and subscribe if you like it 🙂

Putting it all together –

Place into card base to ensure correct movement is achieved before adhering.
Apply / adhere all sections and layers to your preference.
Once all secured / dry – apply die cut / fussy cut figures of choice to each pop up section.

Finally –

Ta da! Give yourself a pat on the back! Well done.
